The mobile website is optimized for the following mobile operating systems: iOS (Apple), Android, and later versions of RIM’s Blackberry OS.
We are still in the testing phase and will be updating periodically as we get feedback from you - our clients. We welcome your comments, so please feel free to contact us at: or leave a comment below.

You can access ISABEL on your iPhone, Blackberry, or Android phone. On your phone’s Internet browser, go to the library’s webpage, and click on ISABEL (one of the Featured E-Resources in the center of the page). If you get a "Cannot Verify Server Identity" message, click on the Continue button. You will be sent to the EZproxy login page; enter your name and library’s barcode as shown in this example. In the handheld version, you will have access to some of ISABEL’s powerful resources, but not all. For example, the only e-book you will have access to is the excellent 5-Minute Clinical Consult, but not the other e-books.
In order to access the full content of Micromedex on your iPhone, Blackberry, or Android phone, you’ll need to get a username and password from Micromedex. First, access Micromedex from the library’s homepage, click on the blue MICROMEDEX 1.0 (Healthcare Series) button on the upper right, and then click on the gray Handheld PDA tab at the top towards the center/right. Scroll down to the mobileMicromedex 2.0 for iPhone/iPad, Blackberry, and Droid section. You’ll need to use the username and password given on this page. The username and password changes every 3 months (Jan., Apr., July, Sept.), so you’ll need to visit this link again in the future to get a new username and password.
Lastly, Micromedex also has a free app, but it only contains the drug information. From iTunes, search the App Store for the Micromedex Drug Information app.
If you have any questions about these resources, please contact the Reference librarian faculty at 305-243-6648 or .
