AMA Manual of Style Online is now available at www.amamanualofstyle.com and under E-Books/Writer’s Tools on the Library’s web site. Containing the contents of the entire 10th ed, Oxford’s electronic version, launched in partnership with the AMA, also contains information, features and revision that will not appear in print until 2017.

Circulation Collection, a group of six Circulation-related monthly journals from the American Heart Association, is now available on the Library’s E-Journals: A-Z Link. These journals have both a clinical and research focus and have been frequently requested by faculty. They include Circulation: Arrhythmia and Electrophysiology, Circulation: Cardiovascular Genetics, Circulation: Cardiovascular Imaging, Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions, Circulation, Cardiovascular Quality and Outcomes, and Circulation: Heart Failure.
√ The Calder Consumer Health Library database now includes high quality, 3D Procedure Animations from Nucleus Medical Art and 25 lifestyle HealthClips™ from Milner-Fenwick, a leading producer of health videos. To view the new animations and videos, select Videos & Animations under the Interactive Tools heading.

Isabel, the diagnostic decision support tool trial at http://www.isabelhealthcare.com, was updated and enhanced with a new layout for entering clinical features and two new shorter displays of possible diagnoses in which the 10 most common diagnoses appear above the list of body systems. However, each display lets users view all diagnoses or body systems.

Natural Standard, the Library’s resource on evidence-based complementary and alternative medicine, added numerous Interactive Tools, including Symptom Checker, Interactions Checker, Calculators and many more at www.naturalstandard.com/tools.

NIH RePORTER (Research Portfolio Online Reporting Tool) at http://projectreporter.nih.gov/reporter.cfm replaced CRISP on September 9, 2009, but retains all CRISP features and adds many new capabilities and links to PubMed, PubMed Central, patent databases, etc.
√ Oxford Journals Archive makes the full text of 73 important health sciences journals, from Volume 1, Number 1, 1849-1995, accessible on the Library’s E-Journals: A-Z link.

USP-NF Online is available on the E-Databases link of the Library’s web site. The Pharmacopoeia helps you find information by product name, dosage form, chemical formula or by the way words sound.

WISER (Wireless Information System for Emergency Responders) now has an improved user interface for retrieving information on hazardous substances, comparing them and viewing multiple substances. WISER can be downloaded at http://wiser.nlm.nih.gov or accessed at http://webwiser.nlm.nih.gov.
