BrowZine for iPad, Android Tablets, and iPhones is here! The University of Miami Libraries now subscribe to BrowZine—the application for libraries that lets students, faculty, and staff browse, read, and monitor scholarly journals right on their mobile device.
With BrowZine, you can:
- Browse and read journals by subject, easily review tables of contents, and download full articles
- Create your own bookshelf and receive notifications when new articles are published
- Save articles for off-line reading or export to services such as DropBox, Mendeley, RefWorks, Zotero, Papers, and more.
BrowZine allows convenient mobile access to most University subscribed journals.
If you have BrowZine installed on your iPhone and iPad, you may “sync” your My Bookshelf contents to both. If you add a journal to My Bookshelf or clear a new article notification from your iPad, changes will automatically appear on your iPhone.
Getting started is easy! From your device, find BrowZine in the Apple App, Google Play, or Amazon App store and download it for free. When initially launching BrowZine, select University of Miami from the drop down list. Enter your Cane ID credentials. Go to “Subjects” and select or search subject area or go to “Titles A-Z” to locate a specific journal.
