Note: L145. This limestone building was erected on Richard Fitzpatrick's plantation on the north bank of the Miami River. Shortly after the Second Seminole War started in 1835, soldiers were stationed there. The property was moved to Lummus Park, 404 NW 3rd Street, in 1925. Fort Dallas is one of only two surviving buildings from Miami's pioneer era.
