Burkhart a very enthusiastic and apparently well-to-do patent medicine man, who has bought considerable property in this country and whose disposition is in the way of growing vegetables and fruits through purchasing the land and placing people thereon for this purpose and allowing them an interest in the business." Burkhart wishes to buy a thousand acres of pine land to transform into grapefruit and other fruit groves.
