Johnson of Hallandale, April 6, 1912: "We understand that you are cropping, and therefore trespassing on land belonging to the Boston and Florida Atlantic Coast Land Company in the Northwest Quarter of Sec. 29-51-42, and are therefore obliged to tell you to vacate this land unless you wish to pay for the same. Please advise us promptly if our information is correct. We are also writing you again in regard to your trespassing on the S1/2 of SW1/4 of Sec. 28-51-42, and wish you would close up this matter to prevent further action." The handwritten postscript adds, "Please note our letter of Jany 19th to which we have not received an answer."
