Debra Jean (Debbie) Segal...daughter of Marilyn Segal, granddaughter of Abraham Mailman.
Premature birth, subsequently developed Cerebral Palsy from brain injury. Rather than institutionalize the child, her parents developed an extensive program of exercise, teaching and rehab at home. Debbie learned to read and speak at an early age and developed into a very intelligent child, despite serious motor control deficits in her legs.
